What Does
the Average Salesman Make?
Our average salesman sell between 2
and 3 accounts per day. There are 110 sales day and at the low end will
sell 225 account for a grand total of $21,997.50, that's more
money than the average American household makes in one year. Keep in
mind, this average is based upon the salesman that are actually working. We have salesman that make well over
$100,000 because they work harder during the summer. Worst case
scenario we have never had a salesman make less that $18,000.00 in one
summer. We work hard to make sure that you will be prepared and have
a successful summer, the rest is up to you.
Cancellations
Excel Marketing gives the pest control companies a guarantee on the accounts that the salesman sell. If the customer
stops paying for a certain predetermined amount of time, or cancels his/her account
Excel Marketing does not get paid for the account and therefore must
charge the salesman back on the upfront money that Excel Marketing paid
out to the salesman. This whole process of cancellations is called
a "charge back period". With Excel Marketing you cannot be
"charged back" for any accounts that cancel, or have past due
payments after the Oct. 31st
deadline. This is the shortest "charge back" period around,
which means more money in your pocket!!!!!
The majority of Marketing/Pest
Control companies have a
charge back period until Jan. 31st and there are other companies that will charge back
accounts for one full year.
This is a major disadvantage for the salesperson. That means that
the salesman can be charged back on accounts for 6 months to 1
full year before getting his/her final paycheck. Some companies
tell their salespeople that the 1 year charge back
period is better, they
promise the salesperson higher sales percentages and tell the salesman that
having a 1yr. "charge back" period is great because it allows pest
control company/marketing company to pay the salesman a monthly check
all year round. Don't be fooled by this, the Marketing/Pest
Control companies benefit from this because there is absolutely no way
they can loose, you're letting them control all of your money and there
is no way you will be able to track your cancels all year round.
Money upfront is always more valuable than money down the road.
Most salesman we've met from other companies
don't even know how much they are making because it is too hard to track
accounts that have cancelled and accounts that have completed their one
year service agreement.
